Sylvan Grove Hospital can also serve those patients who need acute care or long term care of up to one hundred days through its Swing Bed Unit. Services provided through this program include:

• Intensive Rehabilitation, including physical, speech and occupational rehab
• Respiratory Care
• IV Therapy
• Total Parental Nutrition
• Wound Care
• Post Surgical Care

Every effort is made to make patients feel at home during a stay in the unit. Through an integrated approach, a team of caring healthcare professionals work to meet all the needs of the residents. An activities room, as well as, planned daily activities are available to the residents.
